How to start and join a group timer
if you’re the host:
Only the room host can start, pause, and reset timer
If the host leaves the room, the timer will pause for all guests
Click on the header drop-down and select “group timer”
if you’re the guest:
If your host starts group timer, open your timer and switch to the “group timer” mode
Why is my group timer off?
The group Pomodoro timer calculates the remaining time based on your computer's system time. To ensure you get a perfectly synchronized timer experience, please make sure your system time is accurate.
Apple:
System Settings > General > Date & Time > Set time and date automatically (on)
Windows:
Settings > Time & Language > Date & Time > Sync Now
I can't hear the group timer alarm
We are currently working on improving the Group Pomodoro, and are aware of this issue - if your group pomodoro alarm is not sounding as you’re working, please reload the page if you are on browser or re-enter the Room to retrigger the alarm sound.
I can't start the Group Pomodoro on a short or long break anymore
This function has been changed so that our users will begin their pomodoro session from the Pomodoro cycle initially.
Adjusting the volume separately for personal and group timers
To adjust your personal timer’s volume, click on the Timer icon to open the Pomodoro widget, then make sure you are on the Personal tab. Click on the gear icon located on the right of the menu next to the Long Break, and adjust your volume using the slider.
